mapWhile King’s Kids Africa is willing to follow the calling of God wherever He leads, our immediate focus is on continuing the legacy of the Rocky Mountain Bible Church by working with Pastor Morris Ogenga and the Presbytery of East Africa in the area of Mbale, Uganda. In fact, based on recommendations from the Presbytery, the first five King’s Kids homes were built in the  Busiu zone (just outside Mbale) adjacent to the churches at Busiu B – planted by RMBC in 2009 (pastored by Benson Kisubo); Namajje – planted in 2001 (pastored by Ibrahim Masambu); Angalia – planted by RMBC in 2007 (pastored by David Buku), Lutonyi – planted by RMBC in 2010 (pastored by Paul Kirya); Bukiende – revitalized by RMBC in 2011 (pastored by Robert Mabonga); and Tuba (built outside the Busui zone) was planted in 2010 (pastored by Andrew Ocho).

Since then, we built 4 more King’s Kids homes on local church property in 2020, including: Siira (pastored by David Sewakambo); Kachonga (pastored by Godfrey Siginyi); Milikiti (pastored by Ben Watenyili); and Kakoli (pastored by Deuson Kalimo) – followed by our 11th King’s Kids home in Budaka (pastored by Michael Wabwire).
