Promise Nyaruwa (6-Years Old) – Promise’s father passed away from HIV/AIDS. She is now living with her mother and 3 other siblings. Unfortunately, her mother is also sick from HIV/AIDS and struggling to care for the family and provide food. Promise’s mother asked if the King’s Kids home at Siira would care for her. (Siira) – 2019
Jude (6-Years Old)
Jude Taddeo Kisode (6-Years Old) – Following the death of his mother, his father remarried. However, Jude is now being mistreated by his step-mom and often goes without food or is forced to sleep outside. There have been a number of times when their neighbors have intervened and given Jude some food. After meeting with the family, Jude’s father agreed to release Jude to Pastor Ben and the King’s Kids home. (Milikiti) – 2020
Ganda (6-Years Old)
Ganda Sanula (6-Years Old) When Ganda’s was 2-years old, both of her parents died from HIV/AIDS. She had been living with her aunt, but sadly, was being treated as a house maid. The neighbors have often found Ganda left without food or care. Because of these conditions, the church at Kakoli decided to rescue Ganda and bring her into their care. (Kakoli) – 2020
Asad (7-Years Old)
Asad Ngujja (7-Years Old) – Both of Asad’s parents passed away in an accident and he was left under the care of his grandmother. Unfortunately, Asad’s grandmother is very old and quite ill. At this point, she is struggling to care for Asad or to provide food for either one of them. Because of this, Asad’s grandmother asked if Asad could join the King’s Kids home at Budaka. Dan (7-Years Old)
Dan Munjoka (7-Years Old) – Both of Dan’s parents died of HIV/AIDS and he now lives with the grandmother. His grandmother is very sickly and unable to care for Dan. His grandmother asked if Dan could be placed under the care of King’s Kids Africa. (Budaka) – 2021
Ezra (6-Years Old)
Ezra Kashayine (6-Years Old) – When Ezra was 3-years old, his father passed away from HIV/AIDS. Ezra now lives with his mother and 6 other siblings. His mother is very sick and is expected to pass away very soon. For this reason, the pastor at Budaka has asked if he could rescue Ezra and bring him under the care of the King’s Kids home. Joffrey (7-Years Old)
Joffrey Walwana (7-Years Old) – Both of Joffrey’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS. He is now under the care of his grandmother. However, she is mistreating Joffrey. Joffrey is often locked out of the house and is forced to sleep outside alone. The neighbors have expressed concern that Joffrey’s grandma has threatened to kill him. Because of this, they have asked if Joffrey could be rescued by King’s Kids Africa and taken under the care of the church at Budaka. (Budaka) – 2021
Movin (7-Years Old)
Movin Taitakonko (7-Years Old) – Both of Movin’s parents have passed away from HIV/AIDS. Movin is now living under the care of his grandfather, who is old and weak. Unfortunately, Movin’s grandfather is sickly and is no longer able to garden or provide food for either one of them. Because of these poor living conditions, Movin’s grandfather asked if the church at Budaka could care for Movin. (Budaka) – 2021
Mugala (7-Years Old)
Mugala Jamilah (7-Years Old) – When Mugala was 3-years old, both of her parents passed away from HIV/AIDS. Since then, Mugala has lived under terrible conditions and is often mistreated by her grandparents. The neighbors have overheard Mugala’s grandparents planning to sell Mugala off when she turns 10. For these reasons, the church at Budaka found it necessary to rescue Mugala. (Budaka) – 2021
Latifa (7-Years Old)
Latifa Nakatabira (7-Years Old) – Both of Latifa’s parents passed had died due to HIV/AIDS and she is now under the care of her Auntie. Unfortunately, Latifa’s Auntie is also suffering from HIV/AIDS and has 7 children of her own. Because of this, she has asked if Latifa could join the King’s Kids home at Budaka. (Budaka) – 2021
Jafarani (7-Years Old)
Jafarani Namudoba (7-Years Old) – Jafarani has lost both of her parents due to HIV/AIDS. Jafarani now lives with her Auntie. But Jafarani’s neighbors have reported that Jafarani is being mistreated and is often forced to sleep outside. The neighbors have found occasions when Jafarani’s uncle has tried to sleep with her, which has filled he life with terror. For this reason, we found in necessary to rescue Jafarani and bring her under the care of the King’s Kids home at Budaka. (Budaka) – 2021
Natasha (6-Years Old)
Natasha Gumikiriza (6-Years Old) – Both of Nataha’s parents have died from HIV/AIDS. Natasha now lives with her Auntie and eight other children. The neighbors have reported that Natasha is often mistreated and is frequently denied food. Because of these horrible living conditions, we found it necessary to remove Natasha from her Auntie’s home and bring her under the care of King’s Kids Africa. (Budaka) – 2021
Sarah (6-Years Old)
Sarah Kateike (6-Years Old) – Sarah’s father committed suicide when she was just 4-years old. She now lives with her mother and stepfather. Unfortunately, Sarah’s mother is a drug user and her stepfather has made numerous attempts to sleep with Sarah. Sarah lives in constant fear, so we found it necessary to rescue her from these horrible conditions. (Budaka) – 2021
Lyada (7-Years Old)
Lyada Mubakali (7-Years Old) – Lyada lives with his single mother and his 8 siblings. When his father passed away, the villagers blamed Lyada’s mother for infecting his father with HIV/AIDS and they were chased away from their home. When we first met Lyada, his mother was completely bed ridden and they were living in terrible conditions. They often went without food even though their neighbors tried to help. (Budaka) – 2022
Zabina (7-Years Old)
Zabina Namudewuke (7-Years Old) When Zabina was 3-years old, she lost both of her parents to HIV/AIDS. While her grandmother took over the care of Zabina, they struggled to exist. Zabina’s grandmother had very ill health and could not longer provide the food and care that was needed. So, Zabina’s grandmother asked if the King’s Kids home at Budaka would take Zabina in. Rose Nabifo (10-Years Old) – Both of Rose’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS and she was left under the care of her grandparents. Unfortunately, her grandparents were elderly and were unable to farm or take care of Rose. So, they asked if the King’s Kids home at Angalia would take Rose in. (Angalia) – 2022
Peace (3-Years Old)
Peace Nambozo (3-Years Old) – Peace lived with her mother and 2 step-siblings. When her father passed away, her mom married another man who had promised to love Peace as his own. However, when his biological children came to live with them, he started mistreating Peace and ordered the wife to chase her away from their home. So the mother asked the King’s Kids House to rescue her. (Angalia)
Anthony (5-Years Old)
Anthony Sakwa (5-Years Old) – When Anthony was 1 year old, both of his parents passed away due to HIV/AIDS. He was then sent away to live with his grandparents. However, it became difficult for his aged grandparents to work the farm – their only source of income and food. When Anthony’s health started to suffer, his grandparents asked if the King’s Kids House would take him in. (Angalia)
Hillary (5-Years Old)
Hillary Wasirwa (5-Years Old) – Hilary was born with other 3 siblings, all from different mothers. When his father passed away, his mother could no longer care for him. So, she decided to take Hilary to his grandparents. Unfortunately, the grandparents struggled to raise enough food for the three of them and Hillary became malnourished. With broken hearts, his grandparents asked if the King’s Kids House could take him in. (Angalia)

Junior Wamano (6-Years Old) – When Junior was 3 years old his father passed away. His mother was unable to care of him and dropped him off at his grandmother’s place. Due to her age and sickly condition, it was difficult for the grandmother to provide for their basic needs. So, she asked if the King’s Kids House could care for him. (Angalia)
Nicolas (6-Years Old)
Nicolas Nabende (6-Years Old) – When Nicolas’ father passed away 2 years ago, his mother took him to live with the grandmother – no longer wanting to care for him. Nicolas was the youngest of nine children living with his grandmother. Unfortunately, Nicolas was in a very poor health and the grandmother asked that we care for him because she had become too old. Patricia (3-Years Old)
Patricia Habuya (3-Years Old) – In 2015, Patricia’s father passed away due to kidney failure. The relatives to the late husband accused her mom of having killed him and chased her away from the house. So, Patricia moved with her mother and her 5 siblings to a smaller house. Unfortunately, there was insufficient food and all the children became sickly. When the local church came to visit, the mom asked if the King’s Kids House would care for her youngest child, Patricia. Alan (7-Years Old)
Alan Wetonyi (7-Years Old) – Paul was born to a teenage mother and by the time he was 3 years old, his father passed away due to HIV/AIDS. Paul and his mother were sent away to live with her parents. However, his mom was unable to care for all of them. Ultimately, Paul and his mom became very sick and asked if the King’s Kids House could take him in. (Angalia)
Teddy (6-Years Old)
Teddy Kibine (6-Years Old) – Teddy’s father passed away when she was 3 years old and her mother dropped her off at the grandfather’s home – no longer wanting to care for her. Teddy lived with her grandfather and several cousins until the grandfather was too old and sickly to care for Teddy any longer. (Angalia)

Esther Mwaleb (3-Years Old) – Esther’s parents passed away because of HIV/AIDS and left her under the care of her grandparents. However, life was difficult since the grandfather was sickly and no longer able to farm. At the request of her grandparents, Esther was welcomed into the King’s Kids House. (Angalia)
Lillian (9-Years Old)
Lillian Namusoke (9-Years Old) – When Lillian was born, her mother abandoned her and threw her into the garbage. The villagers heard Lillian’s cry and rescued her. Since then, Lillian’s grandmother has raised her. But, now Lillians’ grandmother is very old and can no longer provide for the two of them. For this reason, Lillian’s grandmother asked the Pastor of the King’s Kids home at Angalia if he would take her in. (Angalia) – 2022
Daniel (7-Years Old)
Daniel Wanyanga (7-Years Old) – Daniel’s father passed away from HIV/AIDS and he now lives with his single mother. Daniel’s relatives have blamed his mother for the death of his father and have banished them from their village. Unfortunately, Daniel’s mother is bed ridden and is expected to pass away soon. Gift (5-Years Old)
Gift Mutuwa (5-Years Old) – When Gift was just 10-months old, her father died from HIV/AIDS. At the time, her mother decided she no longer wanted Gift and abandoned her at the local market. The next morning, people found Gift in the dump. The villagers were able to find Gift’s grandparents, who have taken care of her since. However, they are now in their 80’s and no longer have the health or strength to care for Gift. So, they asked if Gift could be accepted into the King’s Kids home at Bukiende. (Bukiende)
Mercy (4-Years Old)
Mercy Muhaye (4-Years Old) – Mercy’s father passed away when she was 1-year old. The neighbors claim Mercy’s mother was involved with witchcraft and was eventually driven mad. Mercy now lives with her grandmother who is in her 70’s. Unfortunately, Mercy’s grandmother is now sickly and can no longer care for their basic needs. Mercy’s grandmother asked if the King’s Kids home at Bukiende would care for Mercy. (Bukiende)
Sam (7-Years Old)
Sam Nahayima (7-Years Old) – When Sam was just 3 weeks old, his mother decided to run away and leave him with his father. However, later that week, she was found dead in the forest. When Sam’s father heard this, his trauma was so complete he was left paralyzed and completely helpless. Over time, Sam and his father were abandoned by their family. Since then, Sam has been his father’s care provider. Now, the father has asked that Sam be rescued and taken into the care of King’s Kids Africa and the local church at Bukiende. (Bukiende)
Daniel (5-Years Old)
Daniel Muhamunya (5-Years Old) – Daniel’s father passed away 4-years ago from HIV/AIDS. Daniel now lives with his sickly mother and 7 other siblings. It is too hard for Daniel’s mother to care for all the children and she asked if the local church at Bukiende would care for Daniel in the King’s Kids home. (Bukiende)
Felix (7-Years Old)
Felix Makayi (7-Years Old) – Felix’s mother and father have both passed away from HIV/AIDS. Felix now lives with his grandmother. The local villagers accuse the grandmother of witchcraft and for killing Felix’s parents. Because of this, the surrounding neighbors are unwilling to help the grandmother care for Felix. Felix’s grandmother is in her 70’s and no longer has the strength to care for him. So, she asked if Felix could join the King’s Kids home. (Bukiende)
Joan (5-Years Old)
Joan Wabule (5-Years Old) – Both of Joan’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS when she was 1-year old. She now lives with her auntie and uncle, who have 6 other children. Unfortunately, her uncle beats her and makes her work like a housemaid. Joan’s auntie asked if the King’s Kids home at Bukiende would care for her before she is seriously injured by her uncle. When our Program Administrator met with the auntie, Joan’s condition was terrible and she hadn’t eaten in more than a day. (Bukiende)
Kodimus (6-Years Old)
Kodimus Namalala (6-Years Old) – Both of Kodimus’ parents have passed away. He now lives with his uncle. But the neighbors have warned us that the uncle’s wife beats Kodimus and has threatened to kill him – believing that Kodimus is the uncle’s natural son and not just a nephew. Fearing for his nephew’s life, the uncle has asked if the King’s Kids home at Bukiende would rescue Kodiumus before something terrible happens to him. (Bukiende)
Jane (9-Years Old)
Jane Neboshi (9-Years Old) – Jane lost both of her parents to HIV/AIDS and has been left under the care of her grandmother. Jane’s grandmother has been sickly and struggled to care for Jane. Unfortunately, it has just been reported that Jane’s grandmother has just passed away. Without anyone to care for Jane, Pastor Steve of Bukiende has brought her under the care of the church. Protus (5-Years Old)
Protus Tabali (5-Years Old) – Masa’s mother passed away from HIV/AIDS and he was left with his sickly father. Unable to provide for Masa, his father gave him to the 70 year old grandmother. For the past 2 years his grandmother has been trying to care for him, but with her old age and failing health, that is no longer possible. Masa has been living a miserable life but is now in the King’s Kids Home in Bukiende. (Bukiende)
Merida (6-Years Old)
Merida Nisimeyo (6-Years Old) – Both of Melinda’s parents died from HIV/AIDS. Since then, she has lived under the care of her single aunt and 6 cousins. Unfortunately, raising the 7 children without the help of a husband or family has become too burdensome. Her aunt asked if the King’s Kids home at Bukiende would care for Melinda. (Bukiende)
Jovia (8-Years Old)
Jovia Nalbuya (8-Years Old) – Both of Jovia’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS and she is now living under the care of her grandmother. Unfortunately, Jovia’s grandmother is helpless and unable to care for Jovia. When we found Jovia, she was very sick and had gone without a meal for days. For this reason, we rescued Jovia and brought her under the care of the King’s Kids home at Bukiende. (Bukiende) – 2022
Davis (8-Years Old)
Davis Musongola (8-Years Old) – When Davis was 3 years old, his father passed away, leaving him under the care of his mother. Davis now lives with his mother and 6 other siblings. Davis’ mom is infected with HIV/AIDS and is very sick and is no longer able to care for her children. Because Davis is her youngest child, she has asked that the King’s Kids home at Bukiende take care of him. (Bukiende) – 2022

Jeremiah (4-Years Old)
Jeremiah Masaba (4-Years Old) – Jeremiah and his sister, Ester, lived with their mother and 7 siblings. Their dad passed away 3 years ago. The relatives have refused to help out and even sent her away from her husband’s house with the 9 children. She has struggled for the past 3 years and has worked hard to make sure her children were taken care of, but the burden became too great. She believes that through these two children living at the King’s Kid’s House, their family will be blessed and glory and honor will return to God. (Busiu)
Kanal (9-Years Old)
Kanal Khaitsa (9-Years Old) – Kam lived with her grandmother since her mother died of Aids 4 years ago. She and her brother were left with an irresponsible alcoholic father who dropped the children off at different relatives. The elderly grandmother is at a point where she too is weak and can no longer provide support for Kam. (Busiu)
Serina (8-Years Old)
Serina Habejja (8-Years Old) – Both of Serina’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS. Since then, Serina has been living with her grandmother. Unfortunately, Serina’s grandmother was very sickly and too old to care for Serina. Serina herself was malnourished and had been given little to eat. For this reason, Pastor Benson rescued Serina and brought her into the King’s Kids home at Busiu. (Busiu) – 2023
Pius (6-Years Old)
Pius Woniaye (6-Years Old) – Pai’s father died of HIV/AIDS 4 years ago. Upon his death, the father’s relatives chased the mother and children away – blaming her for his illness. Pai continued to live with his widowed mother and 4 siblings. However, the mother could not care for all of the children and asked if Pai could be raised in the King’s Kids home. (Busiu)
Daniel (4-Years Old)
Daniel Wanda (4-Years Old) – Daniel lived with his mother and two siblings, ages 8 and 1. In 2015, his father passed away from AIDS, leaving his sickly mother to care for the three children. In her condition she could not grow enough food or provide enough support for her children. She has requested that Daniel be accepted into the King’s Kid’s House. (Busiu)
Esther (6-Years Old)

Aeron Balayo (4-Years Old) – Aeron has been living with his 65-year-old grandmother since both of his parents died two years ago. His grandmother is no longer able to care for Aeron because she is sick and too weak to farm. She hopes Aeron can live happily in the King’s Kid’s House. (Busiu)
Sauda (4-Years Old)
Sauda Wamahe (4-Years Old) – Sauda lived with her widowed mother who has untreated malaria that has affected her brain. The people in the village didn’t think it was safe to leave Sauda in that situation so they took her to her aunt, who used Sauda as a house girl to help care for her own 6 children. The neighboring villagers stepped in to save Sauda from being mistreated, and asked if she could live in the King’s Kid’s House. (Busiu)
Paul (7-Years Old)
Paul Werike (7-Years Old) – Paul was born in a Village called Buwalasi Toma. Shortly after his birth, his mother died of AIDS. He has been raised by his alcoholic father, who also has AIDS, and is not capable of caring for Paul. (Busiu)
Olivia (5-Years Old)
Olivia Mutonyi (5-Years Old) – When Olivia was 4 years old, her father abandoned the family, moved to Kenya, and was killed during the course of a robbery. Olivia continued to live with her mother and her youngest sister. However, her mother had HIV/ADIS and could no longer care for the two girls. (Busiu)
Emma (10-Years Old)
Emma Watasa (10-Years Old) – Emma lost both of his parents to HIV/AID and now lives with his grandfather. His grandfather is in terrible condition and can no longer care for Emma. In fact, it is expected that his grandfather will pass away within days. Because of this, we thought it was important to rescue Emma and bring him under the care of the King’s Kids home in Busiu. Keren (7-Years Old)
Keren Kitui (7-Years Old) – Keren’s father passed away due to HIV/AIDS and she now lives with her single mother and 6 siblings. Keren’s mother is very sick and can no longer provide for the family. Keren and her siblings often go without food because their Mother is unable to work in the garden and harvest food. Because of this, Keren’s mother asked if she could join the King’s Kids home at Busiu. (Busiu) – 2021
Olivia (8-Years Old)

John (7-Years Old)
John Okirya (7-Years Old) – John’s father was electrocuted when trying to steal power from the local utility lines. John has been living with his grandparents, but in their old age, they are struggling to care for him. They approached the church at Kachonga and John was gladly welcomed into the King’s Kids home. Kenneth (7-Years Old)
Kenneth Nzogi (7-Years Old) – Kenneth has been living with his step mom, who has been mistreating him. His neighbors often intervened and provided Kenneth with food. When the neighbors heard of the King’s Kids home being built in Kachonga, they asked if they could rescue Kenneth. The local pastor and our program administrator visited his home, and found Kenneth living in conditions that were terrible. So, it was immediately agreed that Kenneth would be welcomed into our care. Speranda (7-Years Old)
Speranda Namono (7-Years Old) – Speranda lives with her father who is mad (deranged). Speranda is often forced to sleep outdoors and lacks basic care. Most of the time, the surrounding neighbors take her in and provide food. When the local pastor and our program administrator visited her home, they found that her father was indeed unbalanced and disturbed. At that point, it was decided that Speranda would be relocated to the King’s Kids home. (Kachonga) – 2020
Emma (5-Years Old)
Emma Mutende (5-Years Old) – Emma lives with his father and step-mom. His father is a drunkard and because of his condition, Emma is often left without care. On several occasions, the neighbors have found Emma starving to near death. At one point, Emma’s step-mom poisoned his father, but he was able to recover. In order to save Emma from these intolerable conditions, he was rescued and brought to the King’s Kids home in Kachonga. (Kachonga – 2020)
Anna (7-Years Old)
Anna Namuwenge (7-Years Old) – Following the death of Anna’s father and mother from HIV/AIDS, Anna was taken to live with her grandmother. Unfortunately, her grandmother is very old and sickly, to the point she is no longer able to care for Anna. At the request of her grandmother, Anna was brought to the King’s Kids home to have a better life. (Kachonga) – 2020
Alice (6-Years Old)
Alice Nabwire (6-Years Old) – When Alice was 4-years old, she lost her father to HIV/AIDS. On the day of his burial, Alice’s mother was blamed for infecting her father and their family was chased out of their home. So, she now lives with her mother and 5 siblings in a smaller home. Unfortunately, her mother is also very sick and unable to care for the children. As her last-born child, Alice’s mother asked the King’s Kids home at Kuchanga to take her in. (Kachonga) – 2020
Tracy (7-Years Old)
Tracy Nakirya (7-Years Old) – When Tracy was 5-years old, she lost both of her parent to HIV/AIDS. While her auntie took her in, her uncle was involved in witchcraft and tried to molest Tracy. Amos Hiire (5-Years Old) – Amos’s mother passed away when he was 3. Since then, his father has been caring for the four siblings. Unfortunately, Amos’s father also has HIV/AIDS. Because of his condition, he can no longer care for the children. So, he asked if Amos could join the other children in the King’s Kids home at Machonga. (Kachonga) – 2020
Chrispus (6-Years Old)
Chrispus Wandera (6-Years Old) – Both of Chrispus’ parents have passed away from HIV/AIDS. He now lives with his grandmother who is very sick and can no longer care for Chrispus. In fact, it is generally the neighbors who are providing him with food. At the same time, Chrispus is in poor health. Because of their lack of food and Chrispus’ health condition, the grandmother asked if the King’s Kids home would take him in. (Kachonga) – 2020
Patricia (7-Years Old)
Patricia Haiza (7-Years Old) – Both of Patricia’s parents have passed away and she now lives with her auntie and uncle. Unfortunately, Patricia’s uncle has tried to molest her on several occasions. Her aunt is scared for Patricia’s life and the women in the village have very little voice. Patricia’s aunt invited Pastor Godfrey of Kachonga and our Program Administrator over to her house asking for help. Based on these living conditions, Patricia was brought into the King’s Kids house. Kamu (5-Years Old)
Kamu Kamba (5-Years Old) – Both of Kamu’s parents died from HIV/AIDS. Kamu now lives with his uncle. Unfortunately we found Kamu living in terrible conditions. The neighbors have reported that Kamu’s auntie has tried to starve him and has tried to kill him on several occasions. Because of this, it was vital that we rescued Kamu from his home. Aida (6-Years Old)
Aida Namutosi (6-Years Old) – Both of Aida’s parents passed away from HIV/AIDS and she now lives with her step mother. When we found Aida, her guardians were using her as a house maid. Not only that, but the neighbors reported that Aida’s step mother would often beat her and wanted to kill her. For this reason, we brought Aida into the care of the King’s Kids home at Kachonga. Zubairy (7-Years Old)
Zubairy Moita (7-Years Old) – When Zubairy was young, his father passed away from HIV/AIDS. On the day of his father’s burial, his mother was blamed for infecting his father and she, and her 7 children, were chased out of their village. Without a home, Zubairy and his siblings were found starving. His mother asked if the King’s Kids home at Kakoli would take him in. (Kakoli) – 2020

John Magololo (6-Years Old) – John is an only child. Both of his parents are infected with HIV/AIDS and it is likely they will both die soon. As it is, the neighbors generally provide food for John. But, even then, he often goes without food or care because his parents are too weak. For these reasons, the leadership of the King’s Kids home at Kakoli asked if they could take John in. Scovia Kateike (6-Years Old) – Scovia’s father passed away 3 years ago from HIV/AIDS and left a wife and 8 chldren. While her mother has worked hard to care for the children, she is now sick and can no longer tend to the crops and provide for the children. Peteris Guta (7-Years Old) – When Peteris’ parents died from HIV/ADIS he was taken in by his auntie. The neighbors have reported that his aunt often tortures him, withholds food and often forces Peteris to sleep outdoors. For these reasons, we found it was essential to rescue Peteris from his aunt and bring him to the King’s Kids home at Kakoli. (Kakoli) – 2020
Fulimera (6-Years Old)
Fulimera Nakirya (6-Years Old) – Fulimera has been living with her widowed mother since her father passed away. Sadly, her mother has resorted to drinking and using drugs. The neighbors have reported that Fulimera is often abandoned and neglected, and they have heard her mother accuse her of bringing bad luck and threatening to kill her. Given the unsafe living conditions, King’s Kids Africa elected to rescue Fulimera. (Kakoli) – 2020

Sharon Kadamele (7-Years Old) – When Sharon’s father passed away, her mother elected to remarry. Sharon has been living with her mother, her two siblings and her step-father. Unfortunately, Sharon’s step-father has made several attempts to molest her. Her mother is in poor health, and is concerned what her husband might do if she dies. At the mother’s request, the church at Kakoli agreed to rescue Sharon and raise her in the King’s Kids home. (Kakoli) – 2020

Kasoma Bosia (6-Years Old) – When Kasoma was just 3-years old his father passed away from HIV/AIDS. He now lives with his single mother and his 5 siblings. Unfortunately, his mother is sickly and has been abusing drugs. Because of his mother’s condition, the chlidren are suffering from a lack of food and poor health. Loyce Kanyago (6-Years Old) – When Loyce’s was just 4-years old her mother died. Since her mother’s passing, her father has raised and cared for Loyce and her 7 siblings. Esther Mwinike (6-Years Old) – Esther’s father passed away from HIV/AIDS when she was just 2 year old. Esther now lives with her single mother and 7 other siblings. When we approached her home, we found Esther all alone. In speaking with the neighbors, we found that Esther’s mother was a drug addict and that she frequently left Esther and the other children unattended. Ananiya Mpande (8-Years Old) – When Ananiya was 4-years old, both of his parents died from HIV/AIDS. When we found Ananiya, his grandmother was unable to care for him. Paul (5-Years Old)
Paul Kyongesa (5-Years Old) – Paul’s parents both died due to HIV/AIDS and he now lives with his grandparents. His grandparents are elderly and struggle to care for him. Much of the time, neighbors provide food and some care. Unfortunately, his grandparents often abuse him and physically beat him. Because of these unbearable conditions, it was vital that we rescue Paul and bring him under the care of the King’s Kids home at Lutonyi. (Lutonyi) – 2021

Ema Shebe (5-Years Old) – When his parents passed away, Ema and his 2 siblings were left with their uncle. Unfortunately, Ema’s uncle has HIV and recently had both of his legs amputated. In his condition, Ema’s uncle was unable to care for the children. When he heard of the King’s Kids home at Lutonyi, his uncle asked if they would care for Ema. (Lutonyi)

Nelson Wabye (4-Years Old) – When Nelson’s father died from HIV/AIDS, the family blamed his mother for infecting him. She was chased away from their home and was left with no place to stay. Eventually, Nelson was left with his elderly grandfather who was too old to provide for the two of them. At the beginning of this year, Nelson’s mother also died from HIV/AIDS. (Lutonyi)

Dison Hallenda (4-Years Old) – Dison has been living with his grandparents since both of his parents died from HIV/AIDS. Unfortunately, his grandparents are now too old to farm and care for him and they asked if he could move into the King’s Kids home. (Lutonyi)

Gertrude Katusabe (5-Years Old) – Just 1 year after Getrude was born, her father passed away from a poisonous snakebite. This left her mother to raise Gertrude and her 4 siblings. However, her mother has HIV/AIDS and is now too sickly to farm and care for the children. For that reason, Gertrude is now living in the King’s Kids house. (Lutonyi)

Derick (3-Years Old) – Derick has been living under the care of his grandparents since both of his parents died from HIV/AIDS. His grandparents are elderly and are struggling to provide for the 3 of them. Derick has been suffering from poor health and getting little to eat. (Lutonyi)

The neighbors reported that there were times when men were found around the home wanting to molest Jenifer. Ibrahim Wepukulu (5-Years Old) – Ibrahim’s father passed away 2 years ago when he was killed by the police during the course of a robbery. For some unknown reason, Ibrahim was left by his mother at his aunt’s house. His aunt is a single mother with six children, so all the attention was put on her own children, leaving Ibrahim unattended. Neighbors said that the aunt had been mistreating Ibrahim and asked if he could live in the King’s Kid House. (Namajje)

Lavert Muduwa (4-Years Old) – Lavert lived with her 70-year old widowed grandmother. Her parents died when she was one, and her grandmother was the only person willing to take on the responsibility of raising this young girl. Lavert was not in a good situation as the grandmother depends on farming for food, but is old and can no longer farm and provide for them. (Namajje)

Robert Soita (4-Years Old) – Robert lived with his widowed mother and 3 siblings. When he was born, his father passed away of HIV/AIDS and his mother had to take on the responsibility of looking after him and his siblings. Her only source of income was the crops from her small garden, which couldn’t produce enough food to sustain the family. She was worried about his condition and has requested that Robert be taken to live in King’s Kid’s Home. (Namajje)

Sarah Nandala (5-Years Old) – Sarah lived with her grandparents for the past 4 years. When she was 1 year old, both of her parents died due to HIV/AIDS. Her grandparents no longer work, are very sickly, and their little income from the small piece of land that they farm cannot support all three of them. (Namajje)

Kevin Manyaro (6-Years Old) – When Kevin was 3 years old his father died from HIV/AIDS. His mother couldn’t provide for him so she dropped him off at the grandmother’s. The grandmother has been caring for him for the past 3 years, but can no longer farm and provide enough food to sustain them both. Agustin Mafabi (8-Years Old) – When Agustin was 4, his father became “mad” and abondoned the family. The village then accused his mom of “bewitching” his father and chased the family away from their home. With little food and no home, life was difficult for his family. Eventually Agustin’s mom started drinking and abandoned her children. Because of Agustin’s condition, the King’s Kids home at Siira rescued him. (Siira) – 2019

Simon Wanama (9-Years Old) – Both of Simon’s parents have passed away from HIV/AIDS, so he now lives under the care of his auntie. When we found Simon, his condition was terrible and he was serving as the house maid for his cousins. Not only that, but Simon’s auntie was abusing him and would often beat him. Because of this, the villagers contacted the King’s Kids home at Siira and asked if we would take him in. (Siira) – 2022

Patricia Mutonyi (8-Years Old) – Patricia’s father passed away from HIV/ADIS and she now lives with her single mother, who is also sick and bed ridden. Because of her condition, Patricia’s mother asked if the home at Sirra would care for her. (Siira) – 2022

Agness (5-Years Old)
Agness Among (5-Years Old) – Agness lives with her father and step-mom. The village neighbors reported that Agness was being mistreated by her step-mom and that she was often denied food and forced to sleep outside. Unfortunately, her father is a drunkard and not concerned with her condition. So, to safeguard her from more harm, we rescued Agnes and brought her to the King’s Kids home in Tuba. (Tuba)
Nuciata (4-Years Old)
Nuciata Akoth (4-Years Old) – When Nuciata was born, her mother threw her in the rubbish pit. Barking dogs near the pit alerted the neighbors, who came to investigate, and they found this new-born wrapped in a cloth and thrown away. The police were alerted, an auntie was found, and she agreed to care for Nuciata. However, her uncle mistreated her and eventually threatened to kill her. Realizing the danger, her auntie asked the King’s Kids home in Tuba to rescue her. (Tuba)
Charles (7-Years Old)
Charles Omita (7-Years Old) – When Charles was 5-years old, his father died from HIV/AIDS and Charles was left with his single mom and 5 other siblings. The family blamed his mom for infecting his dad with the virus and chased them away from the family home. She was left with nothing and has been struggling to provide enough food for the children. She has now become ill and can no longer care for all the children. The Church of Tuba intervened and offered to care for Charles in the King’s Kids home. (Tuba)
Eunice (6-Years Old)
Eunice Amunyele (6-Years Old) – Eunace’s parents both died from HIV/AIDS when she was 4. She now lives with her elderly grandmother who has become ill and can no longer farm. It has become a great challenge for the two of them to survive. So, the grandmother asked if the King’s Kids home at Tuba would take care of her. (Tuba)
Mary (6-Years Old)
Mary Amuzugut (6-Years Old) – Following the death of her parents from HIV/AIDS, Mary was left under the care of her grandmother. However, her grandmother is too old and weak to farm and care for the two of them and she asked the Church of Tuba if the King’s Kids home would “adopt” Mary. (Tuba)
Sarah (6-Years Old)
Sarah Amoti (6-Years Old) – When Sarah’s mom was pregnant with her, her father abandoned them – accusing her mom of cheating on him and denying that Sarah was his child. When Sarah was born, they discovered her mom was HIV positive and already feeling the ill effects of the virus. So, her mom sent her away to be raised by her grandparents. Unfortunately, Sarah’s mom passed away later that year. The grandparents continued to care for Sarah, but are now ill themselves and can no longer care for her. So, they asked if the King’s Kids home at Tuba would accept her into their care. (Tuba)
Silver (6-Years Old)
Silver Okware (6-Years Old) – When Silver was 4-years old, his father was involved in a robbery and was shot and killed. The villagers then burned his father and sent the family away – thinking they too were thieves. At the time, their mother was also sick and unable to care for the 5 children. She asked that Silver be taken into the care of the King’s Kids home in Tuba. (Tuba)
Tom (7-Years Old)
Tom Okware (7-Years Old) – When Tom’s father passed away, his mom resorted to drinking and using drugs. As a result, Tom and his 7 siblings were forced to look for food themselves. The local Chairman of the village intervened and asked that Tom be taken to the King’s Kids home in Tuba, since he is the youngest of the 8 children. (Tuba)
Raphael (5-Years Old)
Raphael Kengiere (5-Years Old) – Following the death of his parents from HIV/AIDS, Raymond was taken in by his aunt. As a single mom with 6 children of her own, the burden has become too great for her to provide for the entire family. As such, Raymond’s aunt asked if the King’s Kids home at Tuba would take him in. Allocious (8-Years Old)
Allocious Otwal (8-Years Old) – Both of Allocious’ parents have died from HIV/AIDS. Allocious now lives with his grandfather who is very sick and unable to care for the two of them. Allocious has now become the care giver, though he is unable to farm and provide food for the two of them. It is for these reasons that Allocious has joined the King’s Kids home at Tuba. Esther (8-Years Old)
Esther Aguga (8-Years Old) – When Esther was 7, both of her parents passed away from HIV/AIDS. Esther was left under the care of her grandmother, but their living conditions were challenging and Esther was not given good care. Also, on several occasions, the grandmother tried to give Esther away in marriage. For these reasons, the villagers asked if the King’s Kids home at Tuba could rescue Esther. When Esther was taken from her grandmother, she was thrilled to be joining the home at Tuba. (Tuba) – 2022
Ivan (6-Years Old)
Ivan Okware (6-Years Old) – Following the death of his father from HIV/AIDS, Ivan and his 5 siblings are being raised by their single mother. However, she too is sickly and can no longer care for the children. Without any hope of recovering, she has asked the King’s Kids home in Tuba to care for Ivan. (Tuba)
